Bienvenidx — I’m truly glad you’re taking this step.
If you’re here, you may be carrying more than you show to the world. Perhaps anxiety has been quietly running in the background of your life. Maybe depression has made even simple tasks feel heavy. You might be navigating a health diagnosis, a major life transition, relationship strain, cultural adjustment challenges, or the lingering effects of trauma. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to face it alone.
With 13 years of experience as a clinical psychologist, I specialize in general mental health and health psychology, supporting adults ages 25 and older, including older adults and seniors. Adulthood often comes with layers of responsibility and change — career pressures, caregiving roles, evolving relationships, shifts in identity, and concerns about physical health. These experiences can feel isolating, especially when you’re used to being the strong one for everyone else. Therapy offers a dedicated space where your needs, your emotions, and your story take center stage.
I am especially passionate about working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, health-related stress, major life transitions, cultural adjustment challenges, relationship concerns, and trauma-related experiences. Whether you are adapting to a new country, coping with chronic illness, grieving a loss, redefining yourself after a separation, or trying to quiet a mind that won’t slow down, ont-moment awareness and reduce stress. I also draw from Humanistic Therapy to ensure our work remains person-centered and empowering, and Trauma-Informed Therapy to ensure that your history is approached with sensitivity, safety, and respect.
I offer virtual therapy in both English and Spanish, creating a space where you can fully express yourself in the language that feels most natural. For many clients, language carries culture, identity, and emotion. Being able to speak freely — without translating your thoughts or minimizing parts of yourself — can make therapy more meaningful and effective. I approach cultural identity with respect and openness, recognizing the strength it takes to navigate multiple worlds and expectations.
As a therapist, I provide a warm, compassionate, and supportive environment where you can safely explore difficult thoughts and feelings. Building a trusting relationship is at the heart of my work. I want you to feel understood, valued, and empowered — not judged or rushed. Together, we will gently explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck while also identifying your strengths and resilience. My goal is not to “fix” you, but to help you reconnect with your capacity to cope, grow, and heal.
Our work is collaborative and practical. If anxiety feels overwhelming, we will develop tools to calm your body and mind while understanding the deeper roots of your worry. If depression has left you feeling disconnected or unmotivated, we will take steady, manageable steps toward restoring hope and engagement in your life. If health challenges are weighing on you, we will address the emotional toll while strengthening coping strategies. If trauma continues to surface in your relationships or daily life, we will move at a pace that feels safe and supportive, honoring your boundaries every step of the way.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but it is also a powerful act of courage and self-care. Seeking support does not mean you are weak — it means you are ready for change. You deserve a space where your experiences are heard, your emotions are validated, and your growth is supported. If you are ready to begin this journey, I am here to walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and professional guidance.ur work together will focus on helping you regain balance and clarity.
My therapeutic style is eclectic and thoughtfully tailored to your needs. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns; Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to build emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness skills; and mindfulness-based interventions to cultivate prese
