About

I’ve been honored to hold healing space for individuals walking through many challenges and hardships; alcohol and substance addiction, trauma, domestic/intimate partner violence, anxiety, depression, grief, and life adjustments. I’ve worked in a variety of settings such as outpatient treatment, residential substance treatment, and private practice. Providing a safe and non judgmental space that is client-centered is my top-priority. My goal is to utilize my skills and training to help you heal and grow. I value people’s stories and understand that the process of therapy can be daunting but extremely rewarding. I strive to maintain transparency, authenticity, and compassion while navigating you on the path of recovery. I am me, unapologetically, in all aspects of my life, and value bringing my authentic self into my work. Each journey is different for everyone but I do approach therapy with a few fundamentals: Intake documents are sent through email prior to your first appointment, the first few sessions are about building rapport and the therapeutic relationship. The priority is feeling safe to share your story and walk through this process comfortably. Identifying, recognizing, and understanding how our experiences have shaped the way we think, feel, and behave is important to learning new ways to cope and process. I’m not one to sit back and “uh huh” you. Therapy is about connection and feeling safe to share your story. To be seen, heard, and guided. Together, we will explore how the impact of what brought you to therapy has affected you in your life and ability to function. Create a trusting space to share your story and reframe the narrative that perpetuates feeling stuck. Learn to grow through it. I specialize in working with people who feel stuck in patterns and reframe the story that has become unhealthy and unhelpful. I provide a safe space for people to process their pain. Sometimes our past narrates our present and future, I help to empower to rewrite that narrative. I’ve been honored to hold healing space for individuals walking through many challenges and hardships for the last 8 years such as; alcohol and substance addiction, trauma, domestic/intimate partner violence, anxiety, depression, grief, and life adjustments. My office location is in a small business building on the first floor with wheelchair accessibility. I provide services Tuesday through Friday and some Saturdays by appointment only. I also offer Telehealth appointments virtually as well. I look forward to working with you on your healing journey!
