I provide time-effective therapy to those who are seeking to decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety by learning to recognize patterns of thinking and coping that may be creating or contributing to their suffering. I’m a great fit for clients who appreciate an active, conversational, and down-to-earth style. My therapeutic approach is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles. I enjoy working with clear objectives, either in short-term therapy or in long-term therapy for those interested in addressing difficulties in their relationships, stemming from attachment trauma, and family of origin experiences.
In addition to working with individuals, I’m passionate about couples who are experiencing difficulties and are feeling stuck in a never-ending cycle of anger, helplessness, and hopelessness in their relationship. I work with these intimate relationship problems from a powerful therapeutic modality called EFT.
