About Karla Flores Martinez MSW, LCSW

Hello! My name is Karla, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and I have had the privilege of walking alongside people for 6 years. As a Latina clinician, I am passionate about providing inclusive, affirming and anti-oppressive mental health services to the individuals I work with. This often looks like a reflection of myself, BIPOC and queer individuals, which allows for an organic therapeutic relationship to be the foundation of our work together. I enjoy supporting folks new to therapy, folks navigating life transitions, anxiety, non-western family cultures, acculturation, relationships and loss.

My goal is to walk alongside individuals to identify and work towards their healing goals. To support with this I lean on a few different modalities to support clients, depending on their needs and goals. This can range from traditional talk therapy, CBT, TF-CBT and IFS. We will work together to identify what would work best for you and the goals you set.

I believe that deciding to engage in mental health services begins in the process of healing. This process looks different for everyone and I would be honored to walk alongside you throughout any part of your healing journey.
