If you’re here, you might be navigating big questions about who you are, feeling disconnected from your body, or holding stress in your relationships, your work, or this political moment. Maybe you’ve tried talk therapy before and sensed something was missing—something more embodied, more culturally grounded, more aligned with your lived experience. You’re looking for a space where you can slow down, listen inward, and feel supported in returning to yourself. Welcome. I’m Kalissa, a somatic therapist who centers culturally sensitive, body-based healing, for those who have felt unseen or misunderstood in traditional clinical spaces.
I integrate breath and body practices with exploration of the different parts of self, supporting you in tending to past and present wounds while making room for ancestral and intuitive ways of knowing. I also offer tangible mindfulness tools to help you build a conscious and compassionate relationship with yourself, the land, and your communities.
My invitation is to bring your whole self—your complexities, your histories, your intersecting identities—into this space, so we can explore what it means to heal in ways that honor both you and your communities. Let’s create the conditions for your freedom, healing, and joy.
