About Julieth Arellano Gaona, LCSW

Hello! I am one of the founders of I AM Therapy. As the daughter of immigrants, I understand first hand the importance of representation in any space and the challenges that come with looking for the American dream. That is why I am so passionate about providing mental health services to the Hispanic/Latin and BIPOC community whether that be in English or Spanish. This includes working with clients with trauma backgrounds such as domestic violence, growing up in an abusive home, immigration trauma, life transitions, grief, religious trauma, depression, and anxiety.

My clients and I collaborate on working towards their goals with the understanding of how their personal life experiences have affected them in order to deliver mindful, trauma-informed therapeutic services. I prefer using an eclectic style of therapy that includes different modalities and skills such as CBT, EMDR, CPT, coping skills, grounding, etc.

Every healing journey includes self-discovery and working towards your goals. As your therapist, I am joining along side you to provide tools and empower you to identify and connect the pieces that prevent you from being your most authentic self. My mission is to provide accessibility because you are worthy of caring for your mental health needs.

Español

¡Hola!
