Hello and welcome. I am so glad you are here! Please allow me to introduce myself, my name is Julia Sanders and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker helping folks heal their traumas and live the lives that they choose to live more authentically. I am currently providing in-person services in Northern Virginia as well as virtual services in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, New York, and Florida.
I am a hyper-creative person who utilizes many somatic based and creative interventions that are rooted in evidence-based practice to help meet client’s needs and/or provide them with the missing experiences that their nervous system craves.
In my practice I prioritize the therapeutic relationship, meaning that co-creating a safe and comfortable space where healing can occur is my top goal. Learning about who someone is as a person is so very important to me, not only what has or has not happened to them. We are all humans, even when burdened with challenges and deserve the compassion and respect to land into a space without any expectations or additional burdens.
I operate from a client-led, attachment focused, anti-oppressive, feminist lens, and believe in holistic healing that trusts that the client has the ability to heal themselves with a bit of compassion and support.
Inclusion of individual and group practices on our website does not mean we directly endorse or recommend their services.
