I’m a licensed mental health clinician in private practice specializing in cognitive-behavioral treatments for anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and OCD-related disorders, depressive, bipolar, and related disorders, and trauma.
My expertise comprises several clinical training programs in evidence-based treatments, including a post-graduate fellowship at The Reeds Center – Treatment of Anxiety, OCD, and Related Disorders, where I gained clinical experience and supervision delivering exposure and response prevention (ERP), habit reversal therapy (HRT), trauma-informed treatments such as STAIR-NT and CPT, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Additionally, I studied and trained with Dr. Katherine Shear at The Center for Prolonged Grief at Columbia University, Dr. Matthieu Villatte, Research Scientist and Clinical Trainer of the Evidence-Based Practice Institute of Seattle, the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), and the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (WCSPP).
My research interests focus on treatment efficacy and outcomes in applying evidence-based treatments to manage anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and mood disorders. My book reviews appear in Health & Social Work, The New Social Worker, and Psychoanalytic Social Work. I earned an M.S. in Advanced Clinical Social Work Practice focusing on Health, Mental Health, and Disabilities from Columbia University and a B.A. in Theatre from Franklin & Marshall College. I maintain professional memberships with the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS).
