Cultural Identities

About Josefina Sierra, LPC

Hello! I’m a bilingual (English & Spanish) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 5 years of experience working with survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual trauma, PTSD, cultural-identity based trauma, and childhood adversity. I offer therapy services online in the state of Texas and in-person in Houston, TX.
I work with adults, couples, and families impacted by PTSD/Trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, perfectionism, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Gottman Couples Therapy.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own life. I’m not here to tell you who you should be or what decisions you should make. Instead, I want to help you better understand yourself, work through the experiences that have shaped you and develop the tools to create a life that feels authentic.
