I am a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 8 years of experience. I hold a Master’s in Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles with specialized training in working with children, youth, families, and couples. My private practice focuses on providing psychotherapy for adults, teens, families, couples, immigrants, DACA recipients, and conducting immigration evaluations. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, family conflict, acculturation difficulties, phase of life transitions, and parenting. Moreover, I have experience doing dyadic work with children 0-5, parenting support, and extensive work with children and adolescents using both play and talk therapy. I utilize evidence-based treatments such as Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Make Parenting a Pleasure (MPAP), Seeking Safety, and Managing and Adaptive Practices (MAP). My belief is that there is no one-size-fits-all therapy model, and I want to help you figure out what works best for you, whether it means integrating different ways of expression, such as art or play, or incorporating spirituality in your treatment. In therapy, my goal is for you to feel safe exploring thoughts, feelings, and memories that may be uncomfortable. Collaboratively, we will begin to uncover helpful ways to build positive progress that lasts past the end of our therapy sessions.
