In such busy times you may be feeling tired of doing things for everyone else or doing what others want you to do. Possibly tiptoeing around people’s feelings while ignoring your own. Maybe you had to grow up fast, taking care of other’s needs long before you were old enough to take care of yourself. You could be reaching your limit, feeling exhausted, overburdened, or taken for granted. You don’t have to do it all on your own.
I became a therapist because I know how important it is to be supported and feel good about ourselves. While working in my high school counseling center in Chicago, I discovered, we can overcome difficulties when someone listens to us with attention, care and concern. I believe with kindness and sensitivity we have the ability to gain clarity and find fulfillment within. I am dedicated to helping people slow down, notice and honor all positive changes whether small or large. I believe by taking the time to get to know ourselves better, we chip away at blocks and rebuild inner strength. Each step helps us believe in ourselves, take care of our own needs and bring ease to saying no without guilt.
Through both my role as a therapist in Chicago community mental and 10+ years working with people in politics, I learned the importance of patience and understanding. I believe it is the foundation of building strong, solid relationships. As a Spanish speaking therapist I strive to help empower Latinx people to find balance between cultures and provide support through all transitions that arise. I am passionate about inspiring people to generate ideas, adapt new habits and let go of what’s holding them back.
I understand how uncomfortable it can be to ask for the help you need. You can have happiness and peace of mind. You don’t have to do it alone, I can support you in your journey of building inner strength through self-discovery and self-growth towards a better version of yourself. Now is the time to connect.
