Cultural Identities

About Jessica Saldana, MSW,LSW

I’m Jessica Saldana (she/her), a bilingual Spanish-speaking psychotherapist and first-generation Mexican American. I know what it’s like to carry the weight of many worlds, to hold pride and pressure in the same breath, to care deeply for others while losing touch with yourself. Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to translate your experience or educate your therapist — you get to simply be.

I support children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, cultural identity, and the quiet burnout that comes from always being the strong one. I especially support clients from immigrant, multigenerational, and BIPOC families exploring intergenerational pain, reclaiming their stories, seeking belonging, and making meaning of what it means to be deeply rooted in culture while continuously adapting to new worlds.

My approach is rooted in relationship and cultural humility. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic and polyvagal-informed practices, and Narrative Therapy to help you reconnect with your body, reclaim your story, and build safety within yourself. I also honor spirituality and ancestral wisdom as vital parts of healing that extend beyond traditional Western models.

In our work together, we move with care and curiosity, centering your pace, your voice, and your whole self. Healing isn’t about arriving — it’s about becoming.
