As a Bronx native, my commitment to supporting the wellness of underserved groups stems from my roots. The BIPOC community often faces disparities within our healthcare system and I am committed to providing quality, culturally competent care to survivors of trauma, race-based traumatic stress, those seeking to change generational patterns, those struggling to manage worries, fears and frustrations or those seeking self-awareness into their behavior patterns. My journey began as a NYC teacher, where I developed a keen understanding of human learning and development. Later as a School Counselor, I began my counseling experience working with pre-teens and adolescence and their families. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and integrative. I believe in moving at your pace while gently challenging you. Therapy, for me, extends beyond our sessions—it's an active process that requires client readiness for application outside of sessions. As a therapist with ADHD, I offer personal and professional insights to my ADHD and Autistic clients. Rapport is essential to our journey together therefore my top priority is creating a safe, affirming, judgement free space for ALL clients and encourage a "masking" free space for neuro-diverse clients.
