I am a proud Xicana, first gen daughter of Mexican immigrants, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. As a bilingual, trauma-informed therapist, I continue to passionately and proudly serve the Latine community. I center culture in my therapeutic approach, and am certified trained in EMDR, and in Chicana/o/x Affirmative Therapy through the Institute of Chicana/o Psychology. I am honored to support others with their decolonization process to help them connect to their inner power and wisdom, and help shed internalized oppressive views, as well as foster self-awareness and a deeper connection to their more authentic self. Together, we will find the path that will help you feel more confident, capable, and rooted in yourself to manage life’s challenges–connect to your resilience and your strengths in a way that honors your values, and highlights that you have all you need to grow and heal. I specialize in working with people who identify as BIPOC, and especially those of the Latine community, who are hoping to heal trauma (including intergenerational trauma), anxiety, self-doubt, grief, and connect to their power, sense of agency, and resilience. I became a therapist because I wanted to become the therapist I desperately needed in my young adulthood; who understood my cultural identity and my language. I offer free 30-minute phone consultations and am currently accepting new clients. Feel free to check out my website for more details.
