Yo soy, I am Jenny López, LCSW, IECMHS (ella/she/her), a bilingual therapist and founder of Rooted in Nature Therapy. I was born in Oaxaca, have Mixteco roots, and grew up in Southern California. My experiences as an immigrant, first-generation person, and bicultural therapist inform how I support clients navigating identity, belonging, and emotional well-being.
I offer therapy for adults in Spanish, English, or a natural combination of both.
I specialize in supporting those who are often the ones supporting others, and privately feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their own needs. Perhaps you have found yourself wondering, “When will it be my turn to be cared for?”
I am currently welcoming private-pay clients seeking brief, focused therapy during a period of stress, change, burnout, or transition. Most clients participate in 6 to 10 sessions over the course of 2 to 3 months.
Our work together may help you:
My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I also integrate ecotherapy, drawing upon nature as a source of guidance, grounding, and connection. You do not need to consider yourself “outdoorsy” or adventurous to benefit from this approach.
Therapy options
Sessions are 55 minutes, and the fee is $175.
I offer a complimentary 15- to 20-minute phone consultation to learn more about what you are seeking and explore whether we may be a good fit.
You do not need to have everything figured out before beginning. Sometimes, the first step is simply giving yourself permission to receive support.
When you feel ready, it would be a pleasure to connect.
In community,
JL
