About Jennifer Perez, LCSW

Are you feeling worried and stressed? Is it getting more and more difficult to get through the day? Life is filled with so much uncertainty and all these changes can be overwhelming. Deciding to begin therapy takes a lot of courage and it’s the first step on your path to emotional well-being. At some point in our lives, we all have needed support, guidance and a space to talk about our challenges and stressors. Therapy is a good way to explore underlying issues, develop coping strategies, help you gain insight and self-awareness to help you grow and be the best version of yourself.

My goal is to assist you in identifying challenges and help you develop a treatment plan that meets your needs for achieving your personal and professional goals so you can maximize your potential and live whole heartedly.

I view therapy as a partnership between you and me. You are the expert of your life, and my hope is that I will provide you with non-judgment, compassionate, culturally sensitive and brave space to process your feelings and struggles. Through my work and experience as a child and family therapist, I have learned the importance of connecting and building a strong therapeutic relationship.

I specialize in working with those experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma attachment issues and grief and loss. I’m trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy and Managing Adaptive Practice. I used these modalities in my sessions.
