Often, distorted thoughts lead to maladaptive behaviors, which in turn can impact the way you view yourself, perceives others, and/or view the world. Therapy can help with learning new skills and techniques that can assist you with breaking these patterns. Discovering your own voice will help you feel empowered. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 19 years of experience. I have knowledge working with individuals with various mental health needs; however, I find great interest helping those that suffer from anxiety, depression, relationship problems, adjustments, and unresolved trauma. I also have compassion working with individuals with acute and chronic medical conditions (diabetes, liver transplant, cancer). I am also knowledgeable and trained in the areas of Perinatal/Maternal Mental Health (post-partum, miscarriage, infertility) and Gambling Addictions (sports, slots, cards). I have a wide range of experience working with children/adolescents, transitional aged youth, adults, and older adults in both the public sector and medical settings.
