Hi, my name is Jasmine Wilson and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. If you’re in your 20s or 30s and are struggling to find balance and fulfillment, you’re in the right place. Life in your 20s and 30s is full of transitions and uncertainty, which can make finding your footing feel incredibly challenging. The emotional rollercoaster of figuring out life can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone.
Together, we can navigate these challenges and help you feel more empowered in your decisions. I draw from psychodynamic and attachment theory to help clients explore early life experiences that may have influenced their thoughts and behaviors, and in turn, develop adaptive, healthier patterns. Whether you’re here to learn coping skills for anxiety or depression, work through trauma or significant loss, or just can’t seem to get unstuck and break free from self-sabotaging patterns, I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard.
In our work together, we’ll explore your internal thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, and behaviors as a means of cultivating a connection between your mind and body, and ultimately, achieving physical and emotional healing. As a therapist from a mixed background, I have a unique lens into the intersectionality of identity and diverse life experiences and integrate this into my work with clients.
My therapy practice is affirming of individuals of all identities, abilities, and bodies, and I approach therapy from a person-centered and strengths-based perspective because I wholeheartedly believe everyone has innate strengths and resources – many of us just need guidance to realign with them.
You’ve already taken the first step in starting your therapeutic journey, and I’d be so honored to join you. Together, we can explore your struggles and develop new hope and possibilities for your future. If my therapeutic style aligns with your needs, reach out to schedule a free consultation today. Jasmine Wilson, LCSW
