About Jacquelyn Gonzalez, M.S., LMFT, LPCC

Jacquelyn Gonzalez, LMFT, LPCC aka Jackie has been practicing since 2019 and has focused her work on attachment, trauma-informed care, identity and immigration. Jackie has experience working with the Latinx, LGBTQIA+ communities and mainly works with adults and has experience with children and adolescents. Additionally, Jackie has been trained and is certified in writing psychosocial evaluations for immigration purposes and is focused on Hardship Waivers, Asylum, T-Visa, U-Visa, and VAWA. Jackie’s work has been primarily focused on building the connection with the client and meeting the client where they are. Jackie uses a psychodynamic and trauma-informed model and shows sensitivity and empathy with clients’ experiences of life. Jackie has focused her work on meeting where the client is and taking the necessary time for the client to adjust to being in a safe environment. Jackie also incorporates art therapy, talk therapy, and media in her practice. As your clinician, I want to see your growth and see you become the strong, independent and confident person you want to be. I want to meet you where you are and emphasize how your experiences have had an effect on you. I want to be a support system you look forward to seeing, even on the difficult days where sessions are heavy.
