I am a queer, Latinx, trauma-informed, licensed therapist based in Los Angeles, CA!
Healing for Queer & BIPOC Communities
I’m passionate about working with LGBTQIA2S+ and BIPOC communities, which shapes my commitment to creating a safe, affirming space where you can show up authentically. I believe that healing begins when we are met as our full, true selves.
Reconnect with Your Spark
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling disconnected or stuck, and together we work to help them rediscover their spark! Life events like trauma, major life transitions, family conflict, shifts in community, or the weight of sociopolitical stressors can take a toll on our mental health and relationships. When these challenges start to feel constant, they can lead to issues like anxiety, depression, PTSD, or create strain/friction/conflict in our closest connections.
As your therapist, I’m here to support you in making sense of these experiences and moving through them in a way that helps you feel more grounded, connected, and fully alive again!
Therapist Approach
My style is warm and lighthearted, and I bring a sense of playfulness to our work together. At the same time, I offer clear, direct guidance that’s grounded in support and care. I’ll also work with you to uncover your unique strengths, highlight your resilience, and thoughtfully integrate these into your treatment and therapy journey.
Therapy Backed by Evidence and Theory
I take an integrative approach to therapy, which is just a thoughtful way of saying I draw from a variety of tools and perspectives to best support you. Some of the clinical frameworks I often use include CBT, TF-CBT, CPT, Narrative Therapy, Strength-Based, Trauma-Informed, Humanistic, and Feminist Therapy. I also incorporate sociological perspectives, such as critical and feminist theory, to better understand your experiences through an intersectional lens. Alongside all of this, I bring in my own lived experience, both personal and professional, to connect with you in an authentic and meaningful way.
Therapeutic Offerings
Individual therapy can look like helping you learn tools to manage anxiety and stress, rebuild confidence after a breakup or life transition, and challenge self-doubt. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, grow your sense of self-compassion, and support you in finding your voice—in relationships, at work, and in everyday life.
Couples therapy can look like helping partners reconnect, communicate more openly, and re-engage in meaningful ways. I’m not a fit for couples currently in crisis, especially where emotional or physical safety is a concern. I work best with couples who are both open and willing to show up for the process, even when things feel uncertain or hard. It’s okay if you’re unsure about staying together; exploring that question can be a valuable part of the work. I hold space for reflection, repair, and growth!
