Hi, I’m Jaclyn Staubach, LCSW and founder of Aurea Life Therapy. I offer virtual therapy across California for adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, caregiver stress, and the emotional impact of chronic illness.
I work with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and high-achieving adults who feel overwhelmed, stretched too thin, or stuck in patterns of constant pressure and responsibility. Many of my clients are used to being the ones others rely on, which can make it difficult to slow down, set boundaries, or ask for support.
Before starting my private practice, I spent over a decade working in healthcare settings, supporting patients and families navigating serious illness, grief, and high-stress environments. This experience shaped my understanding of how burnout, medical stress, and caregiving responsibilities affect emotional well-being.
As a second-generation Cuban American with parents who immigrated to the United States as children with their families, I understand how culture can influence the way we cope, communicate, and seek help. In many Latinx families, there can be unspoken expectations around resilience, independence, and putting others first. Talking about mental health or setting boundaries may feel unfamiliar or uncomfortable, and I create a space where those experiences can be explored with care and cultural awareness.
My approach is collaborative and structured, helping you understand what is contributing to your anxiety or burnout, identify patterns that are no longer serving you, and build practical tools to feel more balanced and in control.
You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are while being supported in making meaningful, sustainable changes. If you are looking for therapy that is thoughtful and grounded in real-life application, we may be a good fit.
If this resonates with you, you are welcome to reach out to schedule a session.
