About

Welcome! I specialize in providing trauma-informed, somatic-based therapy for marginalized communities, particularly Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+, and immigrant/undocumented community members. My practice offers in-person and online-based individual therapy, couples/partners therapy, and specialized psychological evaluations for immigrant/refugee communities.

My approach to therapy is: Relational & affirming. Trauma-informed & somatic-based. Anti-oppressive & culturally humble. & most of all, humanizing.

My approach to counseling is rooted in the belief that you already have everything you need within yourself to heal. & therapy is just one (of many) spaces to rediscover and deepen that journey. In my office, we invite in all aspects of your being - & attend to all of those parts with gentle care, compassion, and ease. To understand not only how they arrived to being - but also the wisdom and gifts that they have to offer us and others.

So, while you may have arrived here feeling stuck in generational patterns of anxiety and trauma, we’ll work together to understand not only who you are because of it but who you are in spite of it. So that you can disrupt the harsh cycles that keep you feeling anxious and defeated - and step into the dimension of you that you’ve always envisioned. & I’ll be there alongside you - meeting you exactly where you are and supporting you throughout every moment of your journey.

A bit about me:  Queer. Immigrant. Indigenous. Latinx. Somatic-centered clinical psychologist with 10+ years of experience. & a Libra Sun.
