About Graciela Gonzalez, LCSW

Hola! My name is Graciela Gonzalez, a Latina who identifies as a bilingual and bicultural behavioral health therapist born and raised in the San Fernando Valley.  I am excited you decided to take the leap into your own journey to healing, empowerment, and strengthening your relationship with yourself.  Investing in your own mental health wellness is as important as investing in your physical health. My past clinical practice and years of experience took place working at a local community medical center serving our unserved and underserved members of our communities by providing behavioral health services to adults (18-80 + yrs of age) for 13 years. My current private practice focuses on working with individuals to uncover their inner strengths through solution focused techniques while still considering each of my client’s unique and individual life experiences within the multifaceted environments they are a part of.  My past and current clinical experiences includes working with adults with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder, stress management, sleep/insomnia difficulties, trauma, life changing events (divorce, job loss, birth of a child, marriage difficulties), grief/loss, as well with those managing health related conditions such as diabetes, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis C, hypertension, gastrointestinal issues etc. My experiences are also built on working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of medical doctors, registered nurses, nurse practioners, a psychiatrist, case workers, and a nutritionist, which helps enhance my clinical lens and bridge two important parts of ourselves; physical and mental health.  My goal in my private practice is to continue to help adults ( 18+) to strive to find a balance of taking care of their mental and physical health needs in order to enhance and improve overall quality of life.   It would be a privilege for me to join you on your wellness and healing journey.

**I am an approved Medicare mental health provider**
