About Genesis Espinoza, LMFT

Welcome! Congratulations in taking your first step to heal and grow. My name is Genesis Espinoza. I am a Latina bilingual therapist who was born and raised in the San Fernando valley. I love pupusas, tacos, going to the beach, and spending time with my daughter and loved ones. I specialize in working with first gen latinx women, first time mamas, children of immigrants, millennials, and individuals trying to overcome trauma. I am a Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapist (EMDR) and I am certified in Brainspotting to help individuals in their healing journey. I strongly believe that the catalyst for change lies in the therapeutic relationship. In sessions, I implement a humanistic, empathetic, and client-centered approach and collaborate with individuals in finding solutions and goal attainment in treatment. I also provide immigration psychosocial evaluations for immigration cases such as VAWA (domestic violence), asylum, extreme hardship waivers, U-Visa, T-visa, and cancellation of removal applications. Reach out for a free 15 minute phone consultation to talk about your therapy questions and see if I could help you with your particular needs. Genesis Espinoza, LMFT
