I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am currently in the process of obtaining my Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) license in Maryland.
Throughout graduate school, I gained experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across both inpatient and outpatient settings. These experiences strengthened my passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. While I enjoy working with clients across the lifespan, I am especially passionate about supporting adults navigating grief and loss, life transitions, LGBTQ+ identities, and immigration and first-generation experiences.
As a bilingual clinician, I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and strive to create a space where clients feel seen, respected, and understood. I recognize the unique ways culture, identity, family, and community shape our experiences, and I aim to help clients honor those experiences while building the life they want moving forward.
I am honored to walk alongside my clients, seeking to help them feel more grounded, connected, and understood. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, major life transitions, or relationship challenges, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I believe therapy should be collaborative, flexible, and tailored to each person’s unique needs. Together, we will explore what you hope to achieve through counseling and how I can best support you. My session structure is adaptable because I believe there is no one-size-fits-all answer to the counseling process.
My work integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy. Through these approaches, I help clients develop practical coping skills, increase emotional awareness, strengthen self-compassion, and create meaningful change aligned with their values. My goal is to support clients in finding peace in the present moment while also moving toward a future filled with greater integration, hope, and possibility.
