Hola! My name is Fanny, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I provide Individual and Couples therapy. I am first generation, bilingual and bicultural, fluent in Spanish. I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist, working in the field of mental health in multiple areas.

When working with clients, I focus on assisting you in identifying your current struggles and establish your goals for therapy. Through the process of therapy, we may look at recognizing your triggers, learning to identify your strengths, developing and implement new coping skills, and assisting you in learning how to identify and regulate your emotions.

Therapy may also include exploring past and present traumas and relationships, processing difficult and uncomfortable emotions, learning to set healthy boundaries, and learning how to create self-love and acceptance. I am committed to providing supportive and accepting environment and work collaboratively with each client.

In practice, I utilize both traditional and alternative approaches, with the intention of finding what works best for you. I am certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional, certified as an Integrative Mental Health Professional, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral (TF-CBT) trained and Brainspotting trained. When working with couples, I used specialized training in Gottman Method for Couples Therapy (Levels 1-3 and treating affairs and trauma).
