Hola! My name is Evelyn and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (52303) in the state of California. I am a First Generation Guatemalan American, hija de padres immigrantes. I am a bilingual therapist who specializes in treating children, adolescents and young adults. I help people work through their struggles with anxiety, depression, past trauma, and life transitions. I also really enjoy working with adult Latina women who are facing struggles managing current life stressors and life challenges. I would love to partner with you to find more helpful and effective ways to deal with life’s challenges. I work through a client-centered, trauma-informed lens. I am DBT Certified and have training in CBT and Narrative Therapy. When working with me your voice will be privileged and we will work collaboratively to focus on areas in your life you would like to improve. My cultural background has gifted me with the ability to take on a culturally responsive and culturally sensitive approach as I join my clients to help them find ways to manage the hard things that life throws their way.
