Hi! I’m Nia, a Mexican-American, first-generation therapist, millennial wife, and mom who gets how heavy life can feel when everything looks “fine” on the outside, but internally you feel disconnected, overwhelmed, resentful, anxious, or completely unlike yourself.
I work with women and couples navigating the kinds of relationship and life transitions nobody really prepares you for: infidelity, broken trust, divorce, emotional disconnection, constant arguments, postpartum & motherhood identity shifts, quarter-life and midlife crises, anxiety, and the quiet grief of realizing the life you built no longer feels like you.
A lot of my clients are high-functioning women who are exhausted from carrying everyone emotionally while suppressing their own needs. They’re overthinking everything, losing themselves in relationships, struggling after betrayal, questioning who they are becoming, or trying to rebuild after life cracked wide open. They don’t want a cold, overly clinical therapist who just nods and takes notes. They want someone real.
That’s where I come in.
My style is warm, direct, compassionate, culturally aware, and very human. I’ll help you unpack patterns, communicate better, rebuild trust, set boundaries without guilt, and reconnect with yourself underneath all the pressure and expectations. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can be honest without judgment, cry if you need to, laugh when you need to, and finally say the things you’ve been holding in.
As a bilingual English, Spanish, and Spanglish-speaking therapist, I deeply understand the layers many first-gen and Latina women carry; family expectations, generational wounds, relationship roles, guilt, survival mode, and the pressure to keep it all together.
I’m also a Catholic therapist for clients who want faith incorporated into the healing process, though all are welcome here.
