About Emma Ocampo, LMFT at AXOLOT CENTER Mental Health Counseling

Hello, my name is Emma, LMFT. I am a bilingual Latina licensed mental health therapist who provides services in both English and Spanish. I have over six years of therapeutic experience working with children, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds. I have worked in the mental health field for over a decade in areas such as substance abuse treatment, residential care, Wraparound services, and community mental health.

I am certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Seeking Safety, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), which guide my evidence-based approach to care.

My practice is grounded in compassion and strengths-based principles, and I firmly believe in client voice and choice. I believe that meeting clients where they are supports the therapeutic process and helps guide clients toward achieving their goals.
