About Emelissa Mejia, MA, LPC

Hi, I’m Emelissa, a bilingual therapist that is passionate about providing a safe and empathetic space for the Latinx community. Being an immigrant myself, I understand the struggles of identity, transitions, racism, and anxiety that is often experienced in our community. Having worked with inner city youth and families in Chicago, I have a desire to assist both the individual and families to strengthen their relationships, and heal from past wounds.

Whether you’re facing grief, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or struggles with self-worth, we’ll work toward holistic wellness that reflects your values and beliefs.
