I am a bilingual Spanish-speaking psychotherapist with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work from Northeastern Illinois University. As a first-generation immigrant and DACA recipient, I have lived in the U.S. since 2000. My passion is supporting BIPOC community members, first and second-generation immigrants, children, and teens, helping them understand their mental health.
Areas of focuses are:
-emotional awareness
-anxiety
-depression
-anger
-self esteem
-time management
-healthy boundaries
-healthy relationships
I am eager to help and provide a safe environment for all my clients. I hope to make a difference and help members of marginalized communities recognize the importance of mental health at all stages of life. I incorporate meditation, yoga, and clients’ religious/spiritual practices, where applicable, into treatment.
