But there are also moments in life when healing asks for something more.
Some wounds aren’t visible. The stress of balancing multiple cultures, navigating family expectations, experiencing anxiety or depression, struggling in relationships, or questioning who you are can’t always be soothed with a familiar saying. Those experiences deserve space, curiosity, and compassionate support.
I believe therapy offers that space.
To me, therapy isn’t simply about diagnosing problems or reducing symptoms. It’s about creating a relationship where you can slow down, make sense of your experiences, and reconnect with yourself. It’s a place where your emotions, relationships, cultural background, and life story are all welcomed—not judged—and where healing can happen at your own pace.
I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who are balancing collectivist family values alongside more individualistic expectations, navigating bicultural identities, and finding ways to honor both their heritage and their authentic selves.
As a cisgender, heterosexual Latina and Mexican American raised by two immigrant parents, and a first-generation college graduate, I understand many of the complexities of navigating multiple cultures, identities, and systems that were not always designed for marginalized communities. I believe your cultural background, language, family story, and lived experiences are essential parts of who you are and deserve to be honored throughout the therapeutic process
