About Dr. Marjory Vazquez, PhD, EMDR trained

Hola! I am Doctora Marjory Vazquez, and I am passionate about creating a safe space for Latinas and women of color who have experienced trauma. Whether it be from abuse/neglect, intergenerational trauma, or difficult childhood experiences, traumas from the past can continue to have a direct impact on our lives in the present day. Many of my clients are ambitious and successful women who have experienced difficult things and want to become better versions of themselves. As a first-generation Latina college student, I know the importance of stepping into your power and being in tune with yourself.

I believe that healing is most effective when it is holistic and encompasses the mind-body connection. By incorporating spirituality, coping skills, and mindfulness practices, I will help you tap into your own inner peace and intuition so that you can begin feeling grounded again. After learning how trauma impacts both your mind and body, together, we will safely process your trauma. I am trained in various trauma modalities and will utilize whichever one is best suited for you. I approach my work with joy and humor and will guide you in reconnecting with yourself so that you can feel more confident, peaceful, and secure in your relationships.

Currently accepting new clients via Telehealth with anyone who resides in California.  Originally from Southern California and currently physically located in the bay area.
