Hola! I am a bilingual and bi-cultural therapist that is passionate in empowering individuals in reaching their full potential in life. I enjoy working with my Latinx community because I understand what you are going through and know how hard it is to manage cultural expectations from our families while managing our education and our careers. I work with my clients to discover how their family of origin issues show up in their present life and how it impacts them, so that they stop unhealthy patterns in their life. I help my clients uncover the root of their problems, so that we can dig deep, heal and make lifelong changes for a fulfilling and satisfying life. There are times when we feel overwhelmed, trapped and life feels out of control. Are you feeling anxiety, loneliness, sadness or worry? Maybe you just feel invisible, not valued and you also feel the pressure of trying to please everyone at work and at home. So the guilt mounts at even the smallest thought to put yourself first or do things that you enjoy. But you want more. You may be going through a life transition such as a new job, new relationship, becoming a parent or maybe you are having difficulties in your current relationship. You miss who you used to be, excited about life and ready to take on the next adventure. I have expertise working with the following issues: -anxiety -bi-cultural issues -imposter syndrome -unhealthy relationships -family of origin issues (childhood abuse, dysfunctional family) -low self-esteem/self-worth -relationship problems (dating, marriage, workplace) -self-identity issues (discovering who you are) -trauma -work/life balance -workplace discrimination. My clients experience therapy with me like talking to a friend where they build a strong connection. I take a genuine and relational approach with my clients.
