I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) and bicultural psychologist. I earned my Doctorate at Alliant International University in San Diego, CA. I have done extensive work with Latinos/as and do my best to be mindful of tailoring psychological evaluations in a culturally appropriate fashion. My psychology training has taken place in diverse settings, including homes, hospitals, counseling centers, schools, and forensic settings (including prisons). I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults who have struggled with diverse issues, such as challenges with immigration status, substance use, anxiety, depression, aggression, trauma, dementia, and psychosis (such as auditory and visual hallucinations). I approach my work with clients with mindfulness, softness, kindness, and compassion.
