About Dianne Preciado, AMFT, ATR

Hello/Hola! I’m a bilingual (Spanish/English) Marriage and Family Therapist with specialized training in Art Therapy. As a first-gen Latina I understand the pressures and emotional complexities experienced as a young person navigating school, transitions, relationships, and identity. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families who feel “stuck” in patterns of conflict or struggling to communicate effectively.

I practice from a trauma-informed and neuro-affirming lens, which means I find it important that you feel safe in our work. As a trained Art Therapist, I understand how challenging it can be to express what your feeling or make sense of your challenges and experiences. By using alternative methods of communication and processing, such as art, we can find meaning and understanding so that your natural resilience emerges.

Starting therapy can feel like a big scary risk, especially if it’s your first time seeking services. However, you’re not alone in this journey and my job is to create a safe space where individuals and/or families feel seen, respected, and empowered, just as they are. If you’re ready to take the first step or are simply curious, I invite you to reach out for a free consultation.
