Welcome to LatinxWellness! My name is Debbie Ramirez and have been in the field for over 20 years. I am passionate about building wellness and healing in communities of color and in particular the Latinx community. As a child of Central American immigrants, I have the experience of growing up in a bicultural world and having to navigate the values of both cultures. People tend to describe me as a calming and grounding presence. I use techniques such as mindfulness, self compassion, and Brainspotting to really integrate the mind-body connection as well as facilitating intergeneration healing.
