I have a Ph.D. from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, an M.A. from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, and a B.A. degree from the University of Puerto Rico. I have lived in Texas since 2014. I worked as a school counselor for 24 years. I am becoming a therapist now to continue helping people. I am bilingual (Spanish/English). I have training in a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, and grief counseling, among others. We will work together using cognitive and behavioral skills in a supportive and goal-oriented environment to achieve the client’s growth.I want you to feel heard and listened. I hope you develop new skills and are able to think in a new way, even if you come to therapy and your unique goal is to have someone else to. be present with you. I am there for that as well.
