About Daniel Nieto-Lopez, AMFT

Hello, I’m Daniel, a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who provides treatment in English and Spanish. I am passionate about supporting individuals, families, and couples through challenging moments in their lives. I value the importance of the therapeutic alliance and am dedicated to ensuring a safe space and positive experience for all of my clients. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. My experience includes supporting clients through depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions.

My additional experiences include working with first-generation American issues, body dysmorphic disorder, gender dysphoria, and parenting/family issues. I adopt an integrative and holistic approach to therapy and implement. evidence-based practices.

In my leisure time I have an interest in fashion, cooking, self-discovery, and self-development. I am also proud of my Queer identity and Latinx culture. I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage in Family Therapy from California Lutheran University. I look forward to meeting you.
