About Daniel A. Gonzalez, MD, MPH

My name is Dr. Daniel A. Gonzalez, MD, MPH (he/him/él), and I am a bilingual (Spanish-speaking), bicultural, Harvard-trained, and board-certified psychiatrist. I provide virtual mental health care, offering both individual therapy and medication management services to adults 18 and older living in Massachusetts. I am currently accepting new patients and offer sliding scale fees to make treatment more accessible for individuals facing challenges in obtaining affordable, high-quality mental health care.

  • Mood disorders that can include extreme or troubling shifts in mood or emotions.
  • Trauma-related disorders attributed to abuse, trauma, stress, violence, loss, and/or manmade or natural disasters.

I also assist individuals who have experienced a wide array of stressors and challenges related, but not limited, to:

  • Self-worth
  • Self-image

  • Life events
  • Life changes & transitions
  • Interpersonal, family, intimate/romantic, &/or other relationships
  • Intimacy
  • Trust
  • Academic challenges

  • Pressures, expectations & norms
  • Sociopolitical stressors
  • Discontentment
  • Shame
  • Guilt
  • Fear
  • Loneliness
  • Feeling disconnected or withdrawn
  • Grief & loss

My goal is to help individuals overcome their mental health challenges so they can lead a life with less distress and greater fulfillment.

I want to take this opportunity to affirm my unwavering commitment to creating a nonjudgmental and supportive environment for all individuals seeking mental health care, regardless of race, ethnicity, cultural background, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, spirituality, belief system, profession, or immigration status. Everyone is welcome.
