Do you often feel overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of overthinking, or disconnected from yourself? You may notice that your mind is constantly racing, your emotions feel difficult to manage, or your body struggles to fully relax. These experiences are often the nervous system’s natural response to stress, trauma, or environments that did not feel safe or supportive. My approach to therapy is grounded in the understanding that our experiences live not only in our thoughts, but also in our bodies and souls.
Hola! My name is Cynthia. I am a clinical social worker and therapist in Washington State offering trauma-informed virtual services to individuals. I was born and raised in Washington state, but my roots come from Michoacán, Mexico.
My lived experiences have naturally led me into this work. I understand healing as non-linear. It moves like a spiral, like the seasons of the earth — returning, deepening, shedding, and renewing. It asks us to hold both lightness and darkness, grief and possibility. In our work together, we honor that rhythm.
I specialize in working with (adult) children of immigrant families, BIPOC, Women of Color, and 2SLGBTQIA+ experiences. Some area of focus include trauma/historical trauma, Physical/Emotional/Sexual abuse, Immigrant issues, Domestic violence survivors, Anxiety, Identity/self exploration/Confidence, Life transitions & Relational challenges.
As your therapist, I center compassion, collaboration, and curiosity as the pillars of our work together. I believe in the power of trust and safety within the therapeutic relationship, and I strive to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered in every season of your healing.
