My name is Cynthia (she/her/ella) I’m a bilingual, first-generation queer Latina. I enjoy cafecito, practicing yoga, dancing, and reading.
I have a cat who may occasionally make an appearance in our telehealth sessions. I was born and raised in Santa Ana and studied counseling in Los Angeles, where I lived for many years before recently returning to my hometown.
I specialize in servicing: Teen, Young Adults, Neurodivergent Folks living with anxiety, depression, and grief. I support folks in identity exploration, relationship pattern identification, and healing intergenerational wounds. I show up with compassion, cultural humility, and a calm presence as we process what you’ve been carrying.
Treatment Methods and Philosophy
My therapeutic approach is relational and mindfulness-based, rooted in helping you reconnect with your inner wisdom so you can create meaningful, empowered change.
As a bilingual therapist, I offer sessions in English and Spanish and strive to create inclusive, affirming spaces where you feel deeply seen, understood, and supported in your growth.
Favorite Food: Chiles Rellenos made by mi mamá.
Education
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Urban Learning with a Minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from California State University, Los Angeles. I later returned to CSULA to complete my Master’s in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
