I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Development & Family Studies, a Master of Arts in Psychology with a specialization in Psychology (2015), and a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Services (2022). My educational foundation has equipped me with a deep understanding of human development across the lifespan, combined with advanced clinical training to support children, adolescents, and families. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), allowing me to provide specialized, evidence-based interventions for those impacted by trauma. For several years, I have provided direct clinical care in school-based, community, and outpatient settings, with a professional focus on child and adolescent mental health. My work includes extensive experience supporting families in urban, inner-city neighborhoods, including those who identify as immigrants and refugees, many of whom have been impacted by vicarious and lived trauma.
