I bring over 13 years of experience working with active-duty service members, veterans, and their families, as well as individuals from diverse backgrounds. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I embrace evidence-based practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-focused approaches, while honoring the unique therapeutic relationship we will build together. My areas of expertise include trauma and PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges. My work is deeply rooted in understanding and honoring your story, culture, and identity, as we navigate the complexities of change and healing. Therapy is a courageous undertaking, and I understand how difficult it can be to look inward, confront avoidance, and pursue growth. My goal is to create an authentic, collaborative environment where you feel supported, heard, and understood.
As someone who has lived across the world—raised in Mexico, stationed overseas with my military family, and deeply connected to diverse cultures—I bring a rich perspective to my practice. I am fluent in English and Spanish and can provide services in whichever language feels most comfortable to you. I am passionate about supporting individuals from all walks of life, particularly those navigating transitions, stressors, and systemic barriers. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, supporting my husband’s firefighting career, and cheering on my children in their endeavors. I believe deeply in the power of connection, compassion, and humor in fostering resilience. If you’re ready to take the next step in your journey, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, encouragement, and a commitment to your growth. Let’s explore how your life can become more fulfilling and meaningful—together.
