Seeking support is a courageous step, and I am honored to walk alongside you in your journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery. Therapy can feel unfamiliar or overwhelming at times, but it is also a space where you do not have to carry everything alone. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel safe to show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment or pressure to be anything other than who you are.
As a first-generation Latina, I understand the complexities of balancing multiple identities, cultural expectations, and navigating new environments. I am deeply familiar with the challenges of managing family responsibilities while also pursuing personal goals.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and collaborative, meaning I tailor treatment to each individual’s needs using evidence-based practices. I often utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns and build healthier coping strategies. I also incorporate strength-based approaches that highlight resilience, as well as mindfulness, grounding techniques, and emotional regulation skills.
At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy is a collaborative process. I do not see myself as the expert on your life—you are. My role is to walk alongside you as you explore your experiences, build coping skills, and work toward your goals. Together, we will create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow into your most authentic self.
Buscar ayuda es un paso valiente, y es un honor para mí acompañarte en tu camino hacia la sanación, el crecimiento y el autodescubrimiento. La terapia puede parecerte extraña o abrumadora en ocasiones, pero también es un espacio en el que no tienes que cargar con todo tú solo/a. Mi objetivo es crear un espacio de apoyo, libre de juicios, en el que te sientas seguro/a para mostrarte tal y como eres, sin miedo a ser juzgado/a ni a sentir la presión de tener que ser otra persona distinta de ti mismo/a.
Como latina de primera generación, comprendo lo complejo que resulta conciliar múltiples identidades y expectativas culturales, así como adaptarse a nuevos contextos. Conozco muy bien los retos que supone cumplir con las responsabilidades familiares sin dejar de lado los objetivos personales.
Mi enfoque terapéutico es integrador y colaborativo, lo que significa que adapto el tratamiento a las necesidades de cada persona utilizando prácticas basadas en la evidencia. A veces uso la terapia cognitivo-conductual para ayudar a los clientes a identificar y replantearse los patrones de pensamiento poco útiles, y a desarrollar estrategias de afrontamiento más saludables. También incorporo enfoques basados en las fortalezas que ponen de relieve la resiliencia, así como la atención plena, las técnicas de conexión con el presente y las habilidades de regulación emocional.
En el centro de mi trabajo se encuentra la convicción de que la terapia es un proceso colaborativo. No me considero la experta en tu vida: tú lo eres. Mi rol es acompañarte mientras exploras tus experiencias, desarrollas estrategias de afrontamiento y trabajas para alcanzar tus metas. Juntos crearemos un espacio en el que te sientas escuchado/a, apoyado/a y con la fuerza necesaria para crecer y convertirte en tu versión más auténtico/a.
