Cultural Identities

About Carlos Hernandez, LPC

As a Mexican immigrant and bilingual therapist, I understand how culture, identity, and life experiences influence the way we live, connect with others, and make meaning. My work is rooted in compassion and connection, and I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, PTSD, depression, and life experiences that have left deep marks. I also work with men navigating the unspoken struggles of identity, relationships, and emotional expression. I know trauma can feel heavy, isolating, and sometimes unspeakable.
My role is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported at your own pace. Here, your story is welcomed and honored. My approach is relational, person-centered, and existential, which means I focus on building trust, seeing you as a whole person, and exploring meaning in your experiences.
Whether you have been carrying your pain for years or are facing something recent and overwhelming, therapy can be a place to begin again. Juntos, podemos explorar tu historia, sanar las heridas, y encontrar un camino que se sienta más ligero y lleno de esperanza. If this speaks to you, I invite you to reach out so we can start your healing journey together.
