Hello, I’m Beatriz,
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the social service field and 3 years of clinical practice. I am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and specialize in helping individuals develop skills for emotional regulation, resilience, and personal growth. As a proud Hispanic clinician, I understand the unique challenges our community faces when it comes to mental health and the stigma that can come with seeking support. My goal is to provide an inclusive and supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to prioritize their mental health for themselves and their families.
I work side by side with my clients to create a plan that fits their needs and goals. With training in DBT, I use different tools and approaches to help people manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, non-epileptic seizures, dating anxiety, and life changes. My goal is to help you feel more confident in handling fears, impulsivity, or relationship struggles, while building skills to cope with challenges like parenting, breakups, or loss. As a Hispanic therapist, I also understand how cultural expectations can sometimes make us doubt or silence our emotions. Together, we can honor your culture while creating healthier boundaries, stronger relationships, and a greater sense of self-acceptance.
