As a first-generation Mexican American and child of immigrants, I understand the strength, resilience, and complexity that can come with navigating multiple cultures and expectations. I believe mental health care is an essential part of overall well-being and that therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and empowering.
I especially enjoy working with individuals who are trying therapy for the first time. Taking that first step can feel vulnerable, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoy integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic awareness into my work. I believe our bodies hold important information about our emotional experiences, and I support clients in developing tools that address both mind and body.
As a first-time mother and full-time professional, I deeply value balance, growth, and compassion, for myself and for those I work with.
