Hello! My name is Anissa Juarez, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am a proud Mexican American, first-generation, and eldest daughter of hard working immigrant parents. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals on their journeys toward wellness, self-discovery, and healing. I work with college students, first- and second-generation individuals, young professionals, artists, and adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, perfectionism, depression, stress, burnout, and relationship issues.
In our work together, you’ll find a warm and empathetic space where we can make sense of the struggles you’re facing. I aim to empower you to make meaningful changes, helping you flourish and live the life you deserve. I use a combined approach that incorporates mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and narrative therapy, all through a culturally competent and trauma-informed lens. Together, we’ll deepen your self-awareness, explore thought patterns, and develop coping strategies to support your overall well-being.
I’m offering 1 pro bono therapy slot for anyone impacted by the recent ICE raids. This includes 4 sessions, available via Telehealth or in person for those in Ventura County. Please text, call, or email me if you’re interested or want to learn more. / Estoy ofreciendo 1 espacio pro bono de terapia para cualquier persona afectada por las recientes redadas de ICE.
