I have experience working in healthcare, outpatient mental health, and residential treatment. By integrating a psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral approach I explore how past experiences impact the present; while highlighting strengths and innate coping skills. We will personalize your treatment plan based on your unique goals and partner to create sustainable change. I specialize in life transitions, relationship challenges, and substance misuse. As a Latina I am conscious of the impact culture, race, and socioeconomic status can have on everyday life; practicing cultural humility in my work. My experience as a native New Yorker has also provided me with insight into the challenges of living in a big and often competitive city.
